CALM
CALM (Career and Life Management) (3 credits)
CALM focuses on helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to make informed decisions and take responsibility for their personal, social, and career well-being. The course emphasizes self-awareness, healthy relationships, financial literacy, and planning for the future. CALM is a graduation requirement.
Career and Life Management (CALM) aims to enable students to make well-informed, considered decisions and choices in all aspects of their lives and to develop behaviours and attitudes that contribute to the well-being and respect of self and others, now and in the future.
Students in CALM will also be given the opportunity to earn two additional credits by completing the following courses:
HCS3000 - Workplace Safety Systems (1 credit)
This course is required to register for Work Experience or Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP).
CTR1010 - Job Preparation (1 credit)
